Job Description

 

With millions of daily transactions and many different clients worldwide, Advidi has a wide variety of technical challenges. Our tech team works together with all business units in Advidi and maintains a large portfolio of diverse products, including custom portals for clients, internal dashboards, and automation of internal processes.

 

Our team’s focus for the next few years is to build a new platform that aims to replace many of our existing products. Work on this platform is just starting so nothing is set in stone yet so you can really influence this product’s entire lifetime. 

 

You will be joining a team of software engineers to help grow this landscape. You will get a lot of freedom but also responsibility in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift often. We expect you to contribute to our products, technical architecture, maintenance, and project delivery.

 

Basic Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years of post-graduation relevant work experience
  • Experienced in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Kotlin, Java 8+
  • Knowledge of Javascript/Typescript, preferably in combination with either Angular 6+ or React
  • Solid competencies in computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, problem-solving and complexity analysis
  • Knowledge of the Agile and Scrum ways of working
  • Capable of writing clean, reliable and highly scalable code
  • You feel comfortable communicating with business stakeholders and gathering requirements

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experienced using SQL and query performance
  • Knowledge of ngrx/redux and reactive programming
  • Experience using the Spring Framework

You will be joining a team of five other developers and be able to work with a variety of technologies. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior developers who can help you develop your technical skills. In time we expect you will be able to take ownership of the products, technical architecture, maintenance, and project delivery.  

 

Technology Stack:

 

  • Kotlin with Spring Boot
  • Python 3
  • Typescript and Angular 16+
  • Cloud-native on AWS

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Less than 2 years of post-graduation experience
  • Well versed in at least one of the following programming languages:
    Python, Javascript, Kotlin, Java 8+
  • Basic understanding of SQL and databases
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS
  • Solid competencies in computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
  • Experience with a version control system such as Git
  • Understand Agile and Scrum working concepts
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Develop features for both frontend and backend
  • Maintain and improve the existing codebase
  • Work together with senior developers to gather requirements
  • Help answer stakeholder questions
  • Help resolve technical issues and incidents

  • Experienced working with data warehouses, such as BigQuery or Redshift
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and query performance
  • Knowledge of ngrx/redux and reactive programming
  • Experience with AWS technologies like Lambda, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, RDS, Elasticache, S3, EC2, Cloudfront and Elastic Beanstalk
  • Experience using the Spring Framework

Our new social media hero
This is a supporting role which at the same time provides plenty of learning in the very broad spectrum of marketing techniques and operations (online and offline).

With a main focus on social media management and copywriting, you’ll continuously learn how different marketing activities work and compliment each other.

Day-to-day:
Together with the rest of the marketing team, you’ll:
Conduct research to understand the type of content our audience wants. This will sometimes mean running interviews or polling your audience.
Help write content to serve as the fuel for all marketing channels. These include whitepapers, brochures, infographics, sales enablement documents, video storyboards and interviews

Who you are:
Ideally, already living in the Netherlands, or considering moving here.
Great communication skills (English, Dutch is a plus);

Doing a Bachelor in marketing or equivalent;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Mail / Drive
