During such uncertain times, the opportunity to digitally sit down with our trusted partners and hear more about the future of their business and the industry. This week we were joined by Chargebacks911, CEO and Co-Founder, Gary Cardone.
Powering over $1,119,779,227 in revenue recovery, Chargebacks911 offers scalable solutions that are customized for any business of any size in any industry.
Chargebacks911 was founded in 2012, what was your vision behind the company?
We started Chargebacks911 as a small consulting gig that we could operate on the side to supplement our existing eCommerce business. At that time, we had no idea it would grow to the scale we’ve managed to reach! However, we found that chargebacks were an even more widespread and common problem than we realized at the time. We were really making up the playbook as we went along, scaling to meet the needs of our clients as the business grew, and it’s been an amazing experience thus far.
In a continuously changing market, how do you plan for the future?
In an environment as turbulent as eCommerce, I think change is the only thing you can really plan for and anticipate. You won’t always know what the market will look like in five years, or even five weeks, for that matter. That’s why you need to develop plans and strategies that put flexibility and adaptability at their center. You have to accept that the market is going to take some surprising turns and be ready to adapt to a situation you never anticipated.
How does Chargebacks911 stand out from your competitors in the market?
We were the first company to really address the problems in the chargeback space head-on. When everyone else was only offering reactive solutions to lessen the impact of individual chargebacks, we came along and offered a way to see long-term chargeback reduction. We aim to keep that competitive advantage by always evolving and offering new solutions to help merchants reduce their stress levels and still keep more of their revenue. Our Intelligent Source Detection technology, for instance, takes a genuine diagnostic approach to chargebacks. We identify disputes by their source, then work closely with our clients to develop a customized strategy that attacks the root causes of those disputes.
What is trending in your industry right now?
As I write, we’re still in the middle of the coronavirus outbreak. This is going to have a transformative effect on the market, with millions of consumers embracing online shopping, mobile ordering, in-store pickup, and other digital channels. However, the unintended consequence will be an increase in fraud and chargebacks. We can expect to see these problems reach new heights as we’ve never seen, and the shockwaves are going to reverberate throughout the market.
How does partnering with Chargeback911 benefit our clients?
Performance marketing is a dynamic, exciting space. That said, it’s also prone to seeing more chargeback issuances. Part of this may be criminal fraud, while other cases involve cardholders abusing the chargeback process (a practice called friendly fraud). Other times, the culprit is an individual who passes himself off as a legitimate marketer, but then uses deceitful tactics to claim unearned commissions.
Chargebacks911 can offer an unprecedented level of revenue recovery for sellers in the performance marketing space. We have the industry’s only effective solution for affiliate fraud, making it possible for the first time to identify these bad actors. Plus, our suite of tools can help prevent disputes tied to other threat sources like friendly fraud, which will represent the majority of chargeback filings.
We offer the industry’s only dynamic, customizable solution for chargebacks. Plus, all our services are backed by an ROI guarantee, so there’s nothing to lose.
