It’s incredible to look back and see how far we’ve come.
A decade ago, we started Kings of Advidi as a way to create a buzz in the industry, show our partners how much we appreciate them, and of course, it was also an excuse to throw one hell of a party.
All these years later, it has turned into one of the best affiliate marketing competitions on the planet, where the best in the business battle it out to be part of an amazing, VIP King’s Day celebration in Amsterdam.
Pure Competition
The beauty of Kings of Advidi is in its simplicity. It’s a case of ‘may the best man win’. When the final whistle blows, whoever has earned the most points, wins. No gimmicks, just straight up competition.
It’s you vs the rest, and the only way to prove you’re the best is by beating the best.
The competition lasts for 2 months, from January 15th to March 15th and every year it’s tight at the top. Most years it’s decided in the last few days.
There have been so many thrills and spills, and one thing we’ve learned for sure is that it’s never over till it’s over.
It’s all about timing and knowing when to push hard.
The Victor’s Spoils
So in the last 10 years, what kind of prizes have awaited those who were crowned kings?
Well, every year the winners are flown in from all around the globe and put up in 5-star accommodation in Amsterdam. Over the weekend they are treated to next-level dining experiences with private chefs.
In terms of parties, there’s been some incredible nights, most notably some of the King’s Night parties in Amsterdam’s Dam Tower, with amazing views overlooking the city.
Each year there is also a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ experience for the winners. Some of the highlights include speeding around the Formula 1 track in Zandvoort, and taking to the skies to actually fly planes over the Dutch countryside.

Each year, there is also the famous Kings of Advidi boat party. King’s Day itself is the biggest party of the year in Amsterdam, and we make the most of it.
Every year we hire a private boat and DJ to take the winners through the canals to sample the colour and craziness of the best day of the Dutch calendar. It’s something that has to be experienced to be believed.
From Kings to Gods
This year we’re taking it up a notch.
For 10 years, kings have ruled. They battled hard and claimed their crowns, but the throne is no longer enough.
This year the prize is not royalty, it is divinity.
Kings die, empires fall – but Gods, they live forever.
This Kings of Advidi is 10 years in the making, and it’s going to be one for the ages.
For those who make it out on top, the weekend of a lifetime awaits. An all-expenses-paid trip to Amsterdam for King’s Day, the biggest party of the year.

Categories
This year there are 6 categories. All you’ve got to do ius choose the one you want to compete in. You can even take part in multiple categories if you like.
- Dating (Eng Speaking)
- Dating Central Europe
- Dating Rest of World + Nordics
- Antivirus (Eng Speaking)
- Antivirus Rest of world
- Newcomer
For every $1k in revenue earned on Advidi offers from a certain category, you will earn 1 point. The player at the top of each vertical at the end of the competition is a winner, and will achieve God status.
There will also be a live raffle on the final day of the competition, where 1 lucky ‘wildcard’ winner will be drawn from the competitors across all categories.This means there will be 7 winners in total. 1 from each category, and 1 wildcard.
Boosters
The boosters make things even more interesting. These are special milestones you can hit or points boosts you can earn by hitting certain targets.
They are earned throughout the competition to increase your score. Earning boosters isn’t about who’s got the biggest budget, it’s all about timing, tactics and using your head.
Zeus’ Thunder
Start like a bolt from the blue!
This booster is the easiest points you’ll earn in the whole competition, and the best way to get a head start on everyone else.
- +5 points for all affiliates who sign up before January 1st.
Neptune’s Trident
Strike with the power of the sea!
Double points on offer with this incredible booster.
- Every second Wednesday of the competition, we will send you a list of special offers.
- These offers will earn you double points.
- The special offers will be active for 14 days, until the new list is sent.
- The list will be sent at 12pm Amsterdam time.
Apollo’s Bow
Accuracy and precision will win the day!
If you can improve your effort over time, the rewards will be plentiful.
- If you earn the same or more points in your second month of the competition as you did in the first, you will receive a 10% point boost on your final month total.
Thor’s Hammer
With Power and strength you will prevail!
Can you strike while the iron is hot?
- Power Plays will be announced at intervals during the competition.
- These periods will last 48 hours exactly.
- All points earned during these power plays will be worth double.
Heimdall’s Horn
In Norse mythology, the horn is used to signify the final battle between the giants and the gods, the beginning of the end of the world. Don’t worry though, in Kings Of Advidi terms it’s just used to signify that the final stretch of the competition has begun.
Heimdall’s Horn could be the difference between 1st and 2nd when all is said and done.If you increase your final 2 week’s revenue compared to your 2-week average over the entire competition, you have the opportunity to earn bonus points.
- 20% increase on your 2-week average = 10 points
- 30% increase on your 2-week average = 15 points
- 40% increase on your 2-week average = 20 points
