BOTTOMS UP!

  • Maggie Choo’s: If you are looking to escape momentarily from the conference craziness, Maggie Choo’s is a cozy, 1930s Shanghai-themed speakeasy located in the basement level of the Novotel Bangkok Silom Road hotel. A 25 minute taxi from the conference, it is a popular spot and is known for its intimate atmosphere, signature cocktails and live jazz band that play there every night. The bar’s sophisticated style and unique atmosphere are the perfect place to slow things down for an hour or two.

Many locals think of it as one of the best bars in Bangkok, so you’re sure to meet some interesting people.

  • Red Sky Restaurant & Bar: Although Octave is maybe the best option for this kind of experience, it is a bit of a taxi ride from the conference (25 mins), so if you are looking for somewhere closer to home, the Red Sky Bar is located on the 56th floor of the Centara Grand at CentralWorld building. It does have a smaller dance floor than Octave, but it’s one of the highest rooftop bars in the city and is sure to be bouncing on conference week!
