It’s not officially summer in Advidi until we head to i-Con. Cyprus was one of our favourite trips last year, so we are absolutely buzzing to head back.

There will be times over the few days when you’ll want to escape from under the hot fluorescent lights of the conference and take in some of what Limassol has to offer – whether it be getting a quick bite with a client or to shake your ass on a dancefloor.

Don’t be the person Googling ‘fancy restaurants near me’. Dionysus Mansion has you covered. Set in a stunning old villa with garden vibes and just the right amount of smug elegance, it serves up modern Cypriot dishes that scream “we mean business”—but taste like a holiday.
To eat like a local… Magereo Tavernaki

This is the real Limassol—it’s where the locals go when their grandma’s kitchen has run out of food. Tucked in the Old Town, this cozy spot serves up hearty, home-style Cypriot dishes that taste like a warm hug.
It’s casual, charming, and just chaotic enough to feel authentic. And if you stay late you’re usually in for a real treat. Live music often gets going, and by live music we mean anything from Karaoke where the locals take it in turns to bang out Cypriot favourites, to bands covering all your 80s guilty pleasures.
Catch it on the right night and it could make your weekend.
Short walk from the conference… Prime Steakhouse
City of Dreams
Let’s be honest, expanding our culinary horizons is great and all – but what we really want is a great steakhouse. When that’s done right it’s hard to beat.
Prime Steakhouse is located on the same site as the conference and it does exactly what it says on the tin. Definitely on the pricier side as steakhouses go, but the food, service and atmosphere is one of the best you’ll find anywhere in the city.
Great if you have heavy legs after a long day of networking. Rock up, eat your fill of perfectly grilled meat and then drag yourself up to your room to let it digest.
Where To Drink
Cocktails with a view… Marina Rooftop Bar
Limassol Marina, Limassol City 3601
This cocktail bar is the classic combination of a stunning view, great cocktails, and a playlist with just enough base to loosen you up. Can’t ask for much more than that. A great place to start the night.
Take in the sunset, cheers to a drink well earned and set the tone for the night ahead.
Beer and chill… Tapper’s Bar
“Just hip enough” vibe. Laid-back but never boring, with an eclectic playlist that somehow always hits. If you want to ease into your night with great beer and even better people-watching, Tapper’s your spot.
The rotating cast of interesting characters walking in and out keep the atmosphere interesting and it’s the kind of place you could easily sit at for hours chatting without even realising.
Short walk from the conference… Anais
City of Dreams
If you would like to steal yourself away from the conference for some fresh air, a nice cold cocktail or beer and a moment to yourself – Anais is the place for you. Located on site in the City of Dreams complex, its rooftop terrace is a great place to give your batteries a quick recharge.
Where To Dance
Beach club vibes… Columbia Beach Bar

A taxi ride up the coast from the city, Columbia Beach Bar is where you can go to completely unplug. Sea, sand and great tunes – what life is all about.
If you are hanging around for a few days after the conference, this is where you want to be. They are even having their season opening barty on the 31st, the day after the conference, so worth a visit if you are still in Cyprus for sure.
Dance ‘til sunrise… Rote Club

If you make it out of the City of Dreams and into the guts of Limassol, there’s only one place to go – Rote Club. For the best night you’ll never remember.
Maybe the only true electronic club in the city – the bass is dirty and the crowd is energetic. Hidden away in the old town, it’s a gem. Simply show up and keep dancing till you drop.
Pack Your Bags
Armed with all this insider Limassol knowledge, you can be the go-to-guy over the weekend when someone asks ‘where to next?’.
From rooftop cocktails that turn into dance parties, to hidden taverns dishing out grandma-level meze, and bars where the only plan is a cold beer and good company — Limassol delivers. So go on, shake off the lanyard, loosen the tie, and dive in.
