The Opportunity:

We are embarking on a new platform development to replace many of our existing products. As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll play a critical role in shaping this platform from the ground up, enjoying the freedom and responsibility that come with an innovative environment. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will lead and mentor a team, influencing the product's development and architecture.


Our Tech Stack:

  • Spring Boot with Kotlin

  • Python

  • AWS Technologies

  • Terraform and AWS CDK

  • Angular 16+

Responsibilities:

  • Lead one of two future development teams

  • Manage and mentor 3-5 direct reports

  • Collaborate with business and product stakeholders

  • Contribute to the codebase, architecture, and planning

  • Maintain an existing portfolio of products

Required skills:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field

  • 7+ years of relevant post-graduation experience

  • At least one year in a lead or engineering manager role

  • Proficiency in Python or a JVM language (Kotlin/Java)

  • Experience with cloud computing and Infrastructure as Code (IAC)

  • Ability to write clean, scalable code

  • Strong communication skills with business stakeholders

  • Experience with large-scale projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with TypeScript

  • Knowledge of the Spring Framework

  • Strong SQL and query performance skills

  • Familiarity with AWS
